One of the Best Gaming Laptops: Asus Rog Strix GL502 Specs & Review

Now we can play heavy games on laptops that we can carry anywhere and they give just as good of a performance as a desktop computer. Here I have shared reviews on one of the best gaming laptops, Asus Rog Strix GL502.

Powerful Processor:

Intel Core i7- 6700HQ, 2.6 GHZ but can reach up to 3.5 GHz with Turbo Boost. Asus Rog Strix GL502 is quad-core and has a cache of 6 MB which is not exactly the latest technology for 2018 but it works flawlessly.

Flawless Graphics:

There is no gaming without Nvidia. There is 8GB GDDR5 RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 with Intel HD Graphics 530. One thing I don’t like about laptops is that we can’t add more graphics cards to existing, nonetheless, this 8GB card is plenty to process the best of graphics.

DDR4 RAM:

DDR4 RAM 16 GB; 2,133MHz which is enough to handle any game.

Full High Definition 1920 * 1080 pixels in a 15.6 inch non-touch IPS panel with G-Sync. Asus Rog Strix GL502 also includes the option of 4k. The screen has good contrast, no significant light bleed, minimum glare, good viewing angles, and color accuracy.

Secondary Storage Devices:

Asus Rog Strix GL502 includes 1 Terabyte HDD with speed of 7,200 round per minutes and a 256GB SSD (NVMe PCIe). There is extra space on the motherboard to attach another internal hard drive.

Size:

Its screen size is 15.35 (width) x 10.47 (depth) x 1.2 (height) inches. No specs can beat the experience of gaming on a big screen but laptops do offer portability. This size is best we can get in laptops and doesn’t feel too small.

Weight:

Asus Rog Strix GL502 device is only 4.9 pounds that is 2.22kg. Most of its exterior is made of plastic which has made lighter. You won’t feel any burden carrying it in a bag.
